on 21st July 2024, students of Chavoc S.S.S Kitabi took the stage to present a unique cultural demonstration on millet growing. This creative performance showcased traditional agricultural practices and highlighted millet’s role in Ugandan heritage.
Through song, dance, and dramatized narration, the learners walked the audience through the steps of millet cultivation — from soil preparation to planting and harvesting. The presentation not only celebrated culture but also emphasized the importance of agriculture in sustaining communities.
This performance reminded everyone of the deep connection between the land, food, and identity, proving that talent can also be a tool for education and preservation of tradition.
